Foi neste período que o jogador conseguiu ganhar notabilidade em três torneios de grande público, o EPT Londres, o BPPT Figueira e o Solverde Season.
Essas competições fazem parte de alguns dos principais circuitos europeu de póquer no mundo. O European Poker Tour é um certame onde são disputadas diferentes competições pelas principais cidades da Europa. O torneio em Londres é um dos que possui melhor lote de prémios, além da grande dificuldade pelo nível dos oponentes. Em 2009, Milhomens estreou no circuito e conseguiu um importante sexto lugar. Uma surpresa para alguém tão jovem e que pela primeira vez sentava na mesa com grandes atletas. Os bons resultados também na BPPT Figueira de Foz e no Solverde Season, duas importantes competições que ocorrem em Portugal, fizeram com que o atleta despontasse de vez com uma das maiores promessas do póquer europeu e também mundial.
Conseguindo resultados positivos nos jogos, e também financeiramente, Milhomens apostou na carreira e continuou a disputar torneios não apenas em vivo, mas também online, onde conseguia treinar e também quantia suficiente para se sustentar na carreira de jogador de póquer. Dessa forma, o português poderia preparar-se e disputar taças cada vez mais importantes.
De 2010 até 2014, “Arise” viveu momentos de altos e baixos na sua carreira profissional. Não conseguiu o mesmo destaque que teve em 2009, no entanto, manteve-se sempre na disputa das principais competições. No Portugal Poker Series de 2011, que aconteceu em Vilamoura, ficou na nona colocação. Três anos depois, conseguiu uma terceira colocação no High Roller do Main Event Casino Estoril. Em 2015 e 2016, Milhomens continuou irregular e, apesar de um ou outro resultado positivo, não conseguiu ter destaque o suficiente nos principais eventos da Europa.
Durante este período, o jogador saiu de Portugal e buscou um local com maior estrutura para os treinos e disputa de competições de alto nível. Mudou-se para a República Checa, onde passou mais tempo realizando treinos em certames online e participando em competições para ganhar experiência, apesar de continuar disputando torneios portugueses. Milhomens agora tem a temporada 2017 em mira. No ano passado, Milhomens não passou da 324.ª posição do European Poker Tour.
Em 2017, a principal mudança fica por conta da evolução do European Poker Tour, que agora virou uma espécie de competição global. Uma chance para o jovem de Ovar se destacar ainda mais. No entanto, Milhomens precisa recuperar o impacto que causou em 2009 para voltar a mostrar o excelente jogador que demonstrou ser no começo da carreira.
